Using COVID-19 to Help Kids Develop Independence

How is everyone doing after a few months in the house with the whole family? The most significant factors that affect your response to that question are:

1) the age of your kids (and how many)

2) the size of your home. I am fortunate that I have responsible, independent teens, and our home is big enough for each of us to have our separate workspace. If this pandemic had happened when my daughters were young children, I am sure my stress level would be through the roof! The more independent your child is, the easier it is going to be on you. It also helps them become self-sufficient, independent adults.
